ELECTIONS

One of ICON•S’s most important governing bodies is the Council.

The Council is composed of a combination of founding members and elected representatives. Once every three years, the members of the Society nominate candidates for the Council and vote in the Council elections. The electoral process is designed by rules attempting at balancing different criteria to reflect the membership’s diversity and the goals of the Society. Gender balance and geographical diversity are observed in the electoral processes.
