About

The ICON•S Indonesian Chapter brings together scholars, practitioners, and institutions committed to advancing the study and practice of public law in Indonesia—a field that is deeply intertwined with democratic governance, constitutional development, public administration, and rights protection. Despite its significance, Indonesia has long lacked a dedicated national platform focused exclusively on public law as a field of scholarly inquiry and professional engagement.

The Chapter fills this gap by creating a collaborative intellectual community that connects Indonesian scholarship with global conversations, fosters interdisciplinary exchange, and deepens the understanding and development of public law in Indonesia.

In doing so, the Chapter embraces the vision of ICON•S as a scholarly association that is interdisciplinary, internationally engaged, publicly relevant, inclusive, and firmly committed to democratic values and constitutionalism.
